Divorced and alone in Sedona, she wanted a purpose in life – and finds that the future of humanity might be in her hands

A waking dream, a visitation from a spiritual being, a calling to a higher purpose -- and Jillian Truscott had simply been looking for a job.

The experience leads Jillian to a small travel agency, which needs her to do advance work for tourists who want to experience the crop circle phenomenon in the English countryside. Little does she know that this assignment could lead to her own assassination – unless she can first discover the truth of her own dark past.

A romantic thriller with elements of classic suspense fiction, Secrets in the Fields will leave you breathless.

About the Author

Roger Burbridge has been an education editor, a design engineer, a freelance science writer, an English professor, & a psychologist, in that order. He's spent many years teaching others how to write, & recently has turned his talents to fiction. This is his first published novel.

Roger is working on several others, including a sequel to Secrets. He says, "There is a thin line between intuitive truth & the limiting world of consensual reality. Secrets is an attempt to explore a deeper emotional truth reachable only through imagination."

He lives with his wife Mary, also a writer, in the New Age community of Sedona, where (he believes) the veil between the worlds has become paper thin.
