Author's Biography

Therese Francis, Ph.D., is the author of 20 Herbs To Take Outdoors. She started studying edible and medicinal plants in her seventh-grade biology class. She has trained with numerous herbalists & traditional herbalists throughout North America. Her most recent herbal products are the LunaHerbal Herbal Moon Pillows & the LunaHerbal Essential Business Kit.

Dr. Francis is an experienced camper and outdoorswoman, prefering white water canoeing over just about anything except a good mystery book.

Dr. Francis is the editor for Marketing Yourself as an Independently Employed Professional (available through the Society for Technical Communication), and author of The Mercury Retrograde Book and numerous articles on herbs, astrology, and New Age/metaphysics topics. She is a regular author for Llewellyn's annuals, including their Magical Almanac, Sun Signs, and the daily calendars.

She lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
